Berlin, Teaneck/USA – June 29, 2023 – MVP Factory, one of the leading venture & product builders in Germany, has been acquired by the American digital engineering specialist Ness Digital Engineering (Ness), which global investment firm KKR acquired in 2022. With this strategic acquisition, both partners aim to combine their strengths and provide comprehensive support to their customers. Since its founding in 2017, MVP Factory has become a leading address for end-to-end venture & product building and works with renowned medium-sized companies and leading global corporations. The business will continue to be led by founder and CEO Philipp Petrescu.

Strong alliance for innovation projects, venture building and IT transformation

Through the partnership, MVP Factory's customers will benefit even more from the company's expertise in full life-cycle digital engineering from digital advisory through to scaled engineering services.

Ranjit Tinaikar, Chief Executive Officer of Ness Digital Engineering, is also convinced that the strengths of MVP Factory represent a great added value for their customers: "We are excited about the management and the team – their unique and cross-functional approach to digital innovation has deeply impressed us. With MVP Factory, we have gained a strong partner whose approach to venture building, especially the Venture Studio Model, complements us perfectly."

MVP Factory's core competencies include idea generation, validation, and implementation of new digital business models as well as scaling new corporate ventures and venture studios.

"We see Ness Digital Engineering as an ideal partner to work alongside. While Ness successfully digitises its clients' core business, MVP Factory generates new growth and business opportunities from digital products, services, and ventures. Additionally, we will be able to tap into the experience and network of KKR," said MVP Factory's founder and CEO.

In the future, MVP Factory will also increasingly operate in the US. “Together, we will establish a global-leading player in digital innovation and transformation," Petrescu explains.
